The Beginning.

So I only have my laptop, and it has Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 trial version installed on it. To upgrade from this trial is....a LOT. A lot I can't afford. So what's the alternative. Oh wait, there's always blogging. Joy, I'm going to create a blog people can track to view my failures with my writing. Horrific writer's block I'm trying to overcome, mixed with a hundred million ideas I'm trying to convey in an original way. good times. So currently my ideas are minimal, and not overtly overflowing, I'm wanting to work on an old idea I've had for a long time, but the problem is, after reading a lot of fantasy since I first came up with this idea, it seems to mingle very sharply with Laurel K Hamilton's Anita Blake series, and the twilight books, with a few drastic cliches I hadn't seen before. So I'm going to do all the research on my character's and settings first, as I usually would, and then push my ideas out from what I come up with. *Gulp* this isn't gonna be as easy as it used to be when I was writing short stories for my neice ( I used to portray her as a fairy and write little tales for her, almost fables, with some life lessons in them, illustrate them, and I was intending to bind them into a book for her) Anyway, time to go research the things I want to pick up I guess. Some days I'll be putting up a gazillion posts here, others I won't post for a week, just let it flow is all I can do.
